Beauty is God’s Handwriting

A day spent without the sight or sound of beauty, the contemplation of mystery, or the search of truth or perfection is a poverty-stricken day; and a succession of such days is fatal to human life.  – Lewis Mumford

handwriting of GodAfter years of chronic pain and disability,

After experiencing another in a long sequence of treatments gone wrong,

After crying lakes of tears and books of prayers,

After almost dying,

After barely living,

After being given the gift of desperation…

God showed me how to color life beautiful.

May Beauty minutes help you discover new beauty in your life too, as we read the handwriting of God together.

I don’t think of all the misery but of the beauty that still remains.         – Anne Frank

Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror.  – Khalil Gibran

‘Beauty is truth, truth beauty,’ – that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.  – John Keats
